In this short video I’ll share with you a little about my daily Bible study process and give you some background on the prophet Jeremiah and what was happening as he wrote the Book of Lamentations.
Despite his difficult circumstances, the prophet Jeremiah remained faithful to the Lord and encouraged himself and us, thousands of years later, to remember that the Lord’s mercies are new every morning.
To dig deeper into these verses and the rest of the Bible, check out one of my favorite online Bible study tools, Blue Letter Bible. On their website you can look up verses, read different translations and access commentaries from Bible teachers and scholars.
I highly recommend reading the commentaries as you study God’s Word to help you have a fuller understanding of the text.
