Have you ever wondered if the Bible is reliable? Can you trust that what’s written in Scripture is correct? You can! And not just because you believe the Bible is reliable, but because the Bible has proven itself to reliable again and again. In this episode of the unBibled podcast, host Liz Cobo shares the evidence for the reliability and accuracy of the Bible.
The reliability of Scripture is a common challenge brought by skeptics who claim that the Bible is “riddled with errors” and can’t be trusted because it was written by people were who bias. Neither of those claims is accurate. Are there errors within the text of Scripture? Yes, there are textual errors. But there are no contextual errors. The content is all correct. The errors that appear in copies of the Bible are scribal errors, usually copying errors. None of the more than 400,000 errors effect Christian belief at all.
And the argument that the men who wrote Scripture were bias and therefore couldn’t be objective is also untrue. People can be objective even if they are considered “bias” or close to an issue.
Take a listen to this episode. I hope it helps you to see that the Bible is reliable and trustworthy.

It can be overwhelming to start reading the Bible if you’ve never done it before. It’s a big book! But don’t let the size of it intimidate you. While a lot of people recommend starting with the gospels in the New Testament, particularly the Gospel of John, I prefer to start at the very beginning […]
