Well, I have failed miserably at writing 30 posts in 30 days. It’s not that I’m not a writer. It’s not that I don’t love to blog. It’s that my days are so full of culling, editing, designing albums and meeting with my clients that blogging always takes a back seat. I did recently have a question though about my Image Workflow. So I put together a little one sheet that details how I handle saving and backing up my images after an event.
One of the lessons I learned a long time ago was that computers and hard drives crash. They JUST DO. So, you have to be PROACTIVE about saving and protecting your images. In the image below you’ll see that I keep no less than 4 copies of my images. I do that so that I can sleep well at night… and so can my clients. Of course that doesn’t mean that it isn’t possible to still loose images. That unfortunately happens to. I’ve been SUPER blessed not to loose any of mine… but even the best plans can have cracks.
